Kennel Size Guide

🐾 Find the Right Kennel Size for Your Dog 🐾
Choosing the right kennel size is essential for your dog’s comfort, safety, and travel compliance. Follow the simple steps below to determine the appropriate kennel size for your pet based on USDA guidelines.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Measure Your Dog’s Length
- Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- Add 6 inches to this number.
📏 Example: If your dog is 25 inches long + 6 inches = 31 inches
💡 Measure your dog while standing normally or lying on their side. Do NOT follow the contours of the body.
Step 2: Calculate Minimum Kennel Floor Space
- Take the number from Step 1 and square it (multiply it by itself).
- This gives you the required floor space in square inches.
- Divide by 144 to convert to square feet.
📐 Example: 31 × 31 = 961 sq. in. → 961 ÷ 144 = 6.67 sq. ft.
