Deposit & Payment Policy
To reserve your appointment, a deposit may be required—and will be applied toward your final bill at checkout.
Deposits help us ensure timely care for all patients and are required in the following situations:
- New Client Appointments
- Exotic Pet Visits
- Surgical Procedures
- Repeat Late Cancellations or No-Shows (after 2 missed appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice)
Deposit Details:
- New client and exotic pet appointments require a deposit equal to the exam fee.
- Routine surgeries require a minimum $100 deposit.
- More extensive surgeries require a deposit equal to 50% of the estimated cost.
- All deposits are non-refundable if appointments are missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Full payment is due at the time of service.
We understand that veterinary care can be a big investment, so North Star happily accepts payment options through Scratchpay and CareCredit, which offer flexible financing plans, to help make budgeting a little easier.
