Dr. Kim Krivit, DVM, Owner

Dr. Kim Krivit grew up in Minnesota and received her veterinary degree from University of Minnesota in 1992. She then moved to North Carolina, to pursue her career as an equine veterinarian. In June of 1993, North Star Veterinary Hospital was incorporated in Parkton, NC. 

In 2014, Dr. Krivit was able to expand her resume and pursue another passion by becoming certified International Veterinary Chiropractic Association and again in 2016 by becoming certified International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. 

Dr. Krivit is married to her soul mate, Robert Chase who works alongside her at North Star and oversees North Star Stables.  They are also blessed with a beautiful daughter, Willow, who can be found most afternoons training horses and their companions at North Star Stables.  

One of Dr. Krivits’ favorite hobbies is horse camping with her family and with her 5 dogs (3 golden retrievers and 2 dachshunds).
