Robert Chase Facilities Manager / Large Animal Rescue / Owner
Whatever I can do to make your time here efficient, safe and stress free,
please ask. I'm thrilled with the way our facility turned out.
Kim and I researched the best equipment and layout
for your animals health and well being.
Working with animals large or small can be a very physical job. Owners of lengthy horse trailers will appreciate the large curved drive through in back and many drop off access options. The hospital was designed for active animals with high grade non slip floors and ample space for techs and doctors to work.

Thank you for your trust in our team and business.
Don't forget, North Star Equine Stables is right next
door to the hospital. Boarding, riding lessons
and transport services are all available. Rob
Dr. Julie M. Irwin DVM Associate Veterinarian
The human animal bond is such a powerful thing. I like to inspire and develope that in my patients and clients. After almost four years as a military veterinarian and one year
as a local small animal vet, I am happy to expand my desire to care for a wider range of animals. I have an entire farm that keeps my interaction with animals very busy.
Amongst the horses, cats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, and rabbits, I also spend time
preparing for equine competitions.
I enjoy participating actively with with my German Shepherds in Shutzhund training. Schutzhund is a sport that focuses on developing and evaluating those traits in dogs that make them more useful and happier companions to their owners. This is a one on one active sport that keeps me and Arjako very active.

Amy Montoya Registered Veterinary Technician
I have always loved working with animals. I enjoy the many opportunities daily
to use my skills and training to educate owners how to help their pets live a
long and healthy life. The growing information on animal care and new techniques
continues to inspire me to continue my education. After graduating top of my class,
when taking the Veterinary Technician National Board Exam, I am currently enrolled
in a BA program for Veterinary Medical Technology. My ambition is to be an Anesthesia

Specialist for small animals.
With three years in the vet tech business in this community I am excited to be part of North Star Hospital. The newly designed surgery and exam rooms makes it possible for the best experience and care here for you and your pet.
This is my Siberian Husky "Hurley'. He likes coming to work with me. His other talent, among many, is to sing along sometimes when I'm playing my guitar. He's pretty good.

Carolyn Hornbeck Large Animal Assistant
They are amazing creatures that need daily special care because they are loving and
caring in return.

I have been with North Star and Doc Kim for over twelve years and in the field animal care for almost twenty. Every animal that needs my help, gets my full attention and experience.
I also have enjoyed teaching Western riding as well in the past. Having North Star Equine Stables right next door is a big part of
my work day.
My entire family rides. We enjoy the opportunity to ride and
camp in the mountains nearby. Horse shows and local events
always brings fun gatherings for the community at North Star.
Stop in soon,
Carolyn
Cindy Love Veterinary Assistant
I just simply love animals. They need our help and care and I am happy to
give it to them. I have worked with Rescue Rehab in the past and know
how crucial fast and reliable care can be.
It has been exciting to work with Kim, Carolyn and
Rob for almost two years and see this wonderful new
hospital. We were growing when we were in the first
location and it is great to be part of the expansion.
Along with my dogs "Bo" the Boxer and "Skeeter"
my Chihuahua, I enjoy riding with my husband and
three children. Thank you for visiting our web site.
See you at the hospital, Cindy
